I was recently approached by the lovely Rosie Hickling - owner of "Bodytreat Beauty", a business that runs from the Old Post Office in Upper Moutere, Nelson.
I was immediately excited when she delivered the perfect design brief to me. Something feminine, using my own design flair, displaying a product range of massage oils in an array of colours that would present both professionally and aesthetically on the shelf in her bespoke country store.
With no exisiting branding in place. I had the privilege to start a fresh with the design. We looked at developing a brand/logo initially that could then be applied to the packaging.
I presented Rosie with a range of options and we refined these until she was 100% happy with the outcome.
Then we had it! A beautiful classic design that Rosie could feel proud of.
With a beautiful brand in place. The progression from here was easy. We first developed the bottle labels. We used a wide front label that wrapped around each side to include ingredients and contact details. Rosie suggested the colour range she felt matched well to each massage oil and its ingredients. We then worked with local printers - Printhouse, to output colour proofs. Refining the colours slightly until the range worked cohesively together.
Feeling very happy with the bottle labels, Rosie then decided to complete the finesse of these massage oils by encasing in a packaged box to match.
Printhouse and myself were able to quickly turn around the print job in time for the Christmas gifting season.
The full "Bodytreat" range.
Here they are displayed in store.
Thank you Rosie for working with me on this divine project!
